The Eliminator X80 has thousands of hours of research, development and testing devoted to its final conclusion as the most advanced overlap joint high performance UK built shore rod. Iteration after iteration being tested by our dedicated consultants and on our own internal test rigs. The novel technology and advanced manufacturing have generated a well-balanced rod, with a very responsive tip action, progressively stiffening throughout the curve to store and smoothly release energy from the butt. New mandrel tooling and composite pattern designs that allow a semi tapered butt section with progressive phased tapers, adjustable positioning reel seat are all part of the technology package.
This rod has been designed to sit between the T800 and T900, it is ideal for clean to mixed ground anglers. Think open beaches like Chesil and Dungeness. We recognise that 13′ 6″ is a sweet spot for many anglers in terms of length for casting. It is exceptionally light for a rod casting up to 7oz plus bait, with a lovely slim diameter at 19.70mm that will make it very comfortable for most hands. The X80, like its newly launched counterparts are the first rods in the Eliminator ranges to feature an Overlap Joint. The X80 will likely suit most anglers with 5 1/2oz or 6oz plus bait as they load up beautifully. Don’t be surprised if you add some yards to your cast, a lot of innovation has gone into the technical development phase.
The materials used in the Eliminator X series follow on from our experience in current Eliminator rods by using Spread Tow Fabric (STF) combined once again with HPR resin technology and Autoclave Technology to offer significant AT-T anti-twist properties. The STF surfaces in the butt and lower tip and compliments the Anti-Twist Technology incorporated throughout the rod. STF comes straight out of Formula One and all cars use this material extensively in the chassis for performance. Fitted with the robust yet super light Titanium K guides as standard keeps excess weight to a minimum. This Eliminator X series of rods is another example of Century driving the rod industry and rod design forward to maintain our place as the leading manufacturer of sea rods.
Century factory finished beach rods are fitted with premium American Tackle Nanolite Titanium K guides and Anti Tangle tip guide. We believe these are the best guides on the market to partner with our high performance blanks and make your built rod lighter and more responsive. The K guide shape is automatic disentangling guide frame and is suitable for both multiplier and modern fixed spool reels.

Delivery
Delivery is charged as priced on each order. Your order will usually be sent on next day delivery. Once you have placed an order it will be dispatched the same day or the next day depending on the time the order was placed. If you wish to cancel your order after it has been dispatched, you will be charged for both delivery and collection cost.
If you are unavailable when our delivery partner tries to deliver your order, they will usually try to deliver again the next working day or they will drop a card in to offer you a collection from a local collection point. If you should refuse delivery of goods, or are not available to accept the delivery on both delivery attempts, you will be required to cover any extra costs incurred.
All quoted delivery prices are for most UK Mainland addresses. Northern Ireland (BT), Isle of Wight (PO30-37), Isle of Man (IM), Scottish Highlands and Orkney Isles (PA, ML, EH, KA, G, KY, PH, DD, AB, IV, KW), Outer Hebrides and the Shetland Isles (HS, ZE) will incur additional charges and may also experience delivery delays; morning, Saturday and "next working day" deliveries are optional and will also incur additional charges.
We will only deliver goods to the address on the order.
Availability
All information provided on the products on this website is intended as a guide only. Dimensions and weights are only approximate, as are colours. If you are ordering goods that are out of stock we will dispatch them when they are received from our supplier.
On occasion goods are subject to availability and delay in delivery of goods is sometimes outside our control. As such, delivery cannot be guaranteed and any dates we specify for the delivery of the goods are approximate only. We shall not be liable for any losses, costs, damages, charges, or expenses caused by any delay for delivery of the goods.
Returns
We are more than happy to exchange any unwanted items bought over the phone or online, provided they are returned unused, in perfect condition and in the original packaging within 14 days of delivery.
Please remember to inspect your delivery carefully and notify us of any damage within 24 hours.
If an item has been damaged in transit we will replace it as quickly as we can.
Most products are covered by a 12 month warranty provided by the manufacturer. Please note wear and tear is not covered by the manufacturers warranty. Some products have longer or shorter warranties. These products will have the term stated in their description online.
If an item has broken in normal use and it is within its warranty period, it must be returned to us a long with a cover note with your name, address and contact details along with a note explaining the circumstances of the damage. Generally, items must be inspected by a manufacturer's representative before any replacements can be issued. We will cover postal costs of damaged goods which are sent on standard services. Any returns sent on premium or next day services will not but covered by us and will be at your own cost.
If we have made an error with your order, we will rectify it as soon as possible and cover the cost of any postage. Please call us before returning any goods.
